New 55+ community in West Valley now leasing for early 2026

PHOENIX — A new 55+ community in the West Valley called Album Surprise has started leasing for move-ins early next year.

The community is located off of Parkview Place and Paradise Lane in downtown Surprise and is Greystar’s — a global company for real estate investment, development and management — latest active adult apartment community.

“We designed Album Surprise to be a place where active adults can live life fully and on their own terms,” Greystar Managing Director for Development Billy Cundiff said in a press release. “From thoughtful design to a vibrant social atmosphere, every detail encourages connection, comfort and creativity.”

Album Surprise is 4.1 acres and consists of 161 one- and two-bedroom apartment homes, which can be as large as 1,325 square feet.

Each apartment features quartz countertops, tile backsplashes, glass showers and stainless steel kitchen appliances. Some homes will also overlook the community’s resort-style pool courtyard or Surprise Stadium — the spring training stadium for the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals.

The complex offers a number of amenities for residents, including a heated spa, fitness and yoga studios, clubhouse with a pub and game lounge, craft room, dog park, outdoor fire pit and shaded cabanas.

The community is also a short distance from a number of shopping, dining and entertainment options, such as Cooper’s Hawk Winery, Barrio Queen, Sprouts and Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria.

Album Surprise is hosting Dine & Discover events for prospective residents to ask the management team questions, preview floor plans and amenities and learn how to become one of the community’s founding residents.

The first Dine & Discover will be held on Dec. 4 at the Babbo Italian Eatery off of Bell Road in Surprise from 4 to 7 p.m. and guests will be given a complimentary chef-prepared meal. Those interested in attending do need to reserve their spot.
