PHOENIX – A seven-year-old hillside estate with spectacular views in Paradise Valley recently sold for $12.25 million.

The deal set a price-per-square-foot record of $1,939 for a home of its age in Paradise Valley, a ritzy enclave nestled between Phoenix and Scottsdale, according to Compass, which listed the property.

“Beyond an enviable hillside location, this home has contemporary features and finishes, a timeless design and a sense of quiet and serenity that’s hard to come by in the Valley,” Compass agent Chris Karas said in a press release.

The sale of 7050 N. 39th Place was completed on Feb. 27, 108 days after it was listed with a $12.5 million asking price, according to Realtor.com. It was a cash deal with an out-of-state buyer, according to the Phoenix Business Journal.

What did buyer of Paradise Valley estate get for $12.25 million?

The 6,318-square-foot residence has four bedrooms, six bathrooms and a four-car garage. The primary suite boasts a drop-down screen with a projection system and a private outdoor hot tub.

The property features a covered patio and yard with outdoor fireplaces and an infinity-edge pool, as well as a detached guesthouse.

It was built in 2019 in the Paradise Reserve community on the southeastern corner of the Phoenix Mountains Preserve.

“Paradise Reserve has something homebuyers have a hard time finding elsewhere,” Karas said.
