New garden-style apartment complex in Gilbert begins preleasing ahead of May opening

PHOENIX — Modera Higley Commons, a new garden-style apartment complex in Gilbert, is now leasing ahead of its expected opening.

The new apartment complex, developed by real estate developer Mill Creek Residential, is located near Ray and Higley roads. The apartment complex is expected to open in May, according to a Tuesday news release.

The apartment complex features 276 homes and offers one -to-three bedroom apartments. The apartments have several features, including 9- to 10-foot ceilings, wood flooring, quartz countertops and a washer and dryer in each apartment.

“We’re excited to welcome our first residents to Modera Higley Commons, which we believe serves as a unique and top-of-market living option in the area,” vice president of development Mark Sanford said in a Tuesday news release.

“The community design is inspired by the farm-centric agricultural roots of the former Higley community, combined with modern elements aimed to create a tranquil and refined home for our residents. We’re eager to officially join the neighborhood.”

What other amenities will Modera Higley Commons feature?

The new Gilbert apartment complex will have several amenities, including a pool and spa, clubroom, game room with a pool table and arcade games, pet park, fitness center and more.
