David Weekley Homes to break ground at $1B Saddleback master-planned community in Peoria

Houston-based David Weekley Homes is preparing to break ground on model homes within Saddleback, a new $1 billion master-planned community in northwest Peoria.

Castle Hill Partners, the Austin-based developer of the 5,300-acre master-planned community, launched home sales this summer, with Miami-based Lennar Corp. (NYSE: LEN) and Scottsdale-based Taylor Morrison Home Corp. building the first 572 homes at Saddleback.

David Weekley Homes is among the next crop of homebuilders at the development, along with Scottsdale-based Camelot Homes and Pennsylvania-based Toll Brothers Inc. (NYSE: TOL)

David Weekley’s Copper Ridge at Saddleback community will have 129 home sites, with prices starting in the low $700,000s, while its Trailmark at Saddleback will have 61 home sites priced from the mid $800,000s.
