Woman found dead with ‘at least one gunshot wound’ in Phoenix

PHOENIX — A 33-year-old woman was pronounced dead following a shooting near 43rd Avenue and Bell Road in Phoenix on Thursday.
Officers said they found Elizabeth Powell suffering from at least one gunshot wound when they arrived at the scene around 12:16 p.m., according to a release.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
No information regarding a suspect was provided and detectives are investigating the incident.
