3 rescued from White Tank Mountains, 1 in critical condition

PHOENIX — Three people needed to be rescued from the White Tank Mountains due to exhaustion on Thursday, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO).

MCSO’s aviation unit rescued the two men and one woman and brought them to medical personnel.

From there, the three were brought to a hospital.

One of the three adults was hospitalized while in critical condition, MCSO said.
