PHOENIX — A man was hospitalized after being stabbed in west Phoenix on Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers responded to the area of 24th Avenue and Thomas Road for reports of a stabbing around 1:40 p.m.
When police arrived on scene, they found an adult male suffering from a stab wound.
Police said the man was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries that were later determined to be not life-threatening.
According to Phoenix police, there were multiple people detained in connection with the incident. However, no booking information was available.
The investigation into the west Phoenix stabbing is ongoing.
