PHOENIX — The 2019 Waste Management Phoenix Open will have 41 new suites near the 17th and 18th holes, according to the Phoenix Business Journal.

The Journal reported that the two-story suites have been added due to high demand — the nearly 60 suites for corporate and luxury seating added last year weren’t enough.

Chance Cozby, the 2019 tournament chairman, told the Journal that there is a possibility of building a third level of suites for future events.

Last year, the annual PGA Tour event broke its attendance record by almost 64,000 people, reaching a total of more than 719,000 for the week.

The upcoming tournament will be held Jan. 28 through Feb. 3 at TPC Scottsdale golf club.

General admission tickets went on sale in September, with Wednesday, Thursday or Sunday tickets priced at $45, and $60 for Friday or Saturday.

The Greenskeeper Suite package costs $38,500, the E18hteen Suite costs $43,000 and the SkyBox Hole 16 costs $52,000.
