Veterans job fair to be held at State Farm Stadium this week

PHOENIX — For veterans seeking employment, DAV (Disabled American Veterans) and RecruitMilitary is scheduled to host a job fair in Glendale on Thursday.

The Phoenix Veterans Job Fair will take place at State Farm Stadium from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free for active-duty military members, veterans and their spouses and members of the National Guard and Reserve.

Hiring managers from more than 60 employers will be present and looking to fill positions at all levels in a wide variety of fields such as construction, medical, administrative and logistics.

Career counseling services will also be provided, as well as resume assistance and additional networking opportunities.

Veterans who need help with benefits and claims can also receive support at the job fair.

Participants can register for the job fair online.
