2 hospitalized after vehicle crashes into home in Phoenix

Two people were hospitalized after their vehicle crashed into a brick wall of a residential home in Phoenix, authorities said.

The Phoenix Fire Department arrived at the scene near Northern and 10th avenues just before 8 p.m. and found that no one inside the home was injured in the collision. Firefighters did not need to perform extrication to get the occupants out of the vehicle.

A woman was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, officials said.

A man was also taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The Phoenix Police Department took over the scene and is investigating the cause of the crash.
