Criminal charges recommended for husband of TikTok influencer in child’s Chandler drowning

PHOENIX — The Chandler Police Department recommended a felony charge of child abuse against a TikTok influencer’s husband in the drowning death of their 3-year-old son.
The recommendation for criminal charges against Brady Kiser came after a the evidence was thoroughly reviewed, police said.
Trigg Kiser died on May 18 after he was pulled from his family’s backyard pool near Chandler Heights and Cooper roads.
His mother, Emilie Kiser, has 4 million followers on TikTok.
According to search warrant applications obtained by The Arizona Republic, Brady Kiser reportedly said he was distracted by the baby and lost sight of the older boy for several minutes before finding him in the pool.
The case was submitted to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office for review, according to a Tuesday announcement.
