Teen boy killed in west Phoenix shooting

A teen boy was killed as part of a shooting incident in west Phoenix on Monday afternoon, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

PHOENIX — A teen boy was killed as part of a shooting incident in west Phoenix on Monday afternoon, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

Phoenix police were called to the area of 52nd Avenue and Almeria Road around 1:30 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found 17-year-old Anthony Rabadan suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics took Rabadan to a hospital where he later died.

Anybody with information about the case is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS (948-6377) or 480-TESTIGO (837-8446) for Spanish. Callers can remain anonymous, and tips that lead to an arrest in this case will be eligible for a cash reward, authorities said.
