A storm appears to be moving across the Valley as The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Maricopa County until 7:45 p.m.

PHOENIX — A flash flood warning was issued for Maricopa County Sunday afternoon as a storm moves across the Valley.

The flash flood warning is in effect until 7:45 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Doppler radar indicated storms producing heavy rain across the warned area just after 3:30 p.m., as between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain has fallen, according to the National Weather Service.

The National Weather Service says metro Phoenix has a 50% chance of thunderstorms this evening.

As of 4 p.m., APS’ power outage map and SRP’s power outage map did not show any power outages related to the weather.

A flash flood warning was also issued for Pinal County until 7:45 p.m.
