PHOENIX — This weekend, a popular local coffee and flower shop will be opening its third Valley location in Scottsdale, near McDowell and Scottsdale roads.

Stemistry will host its grand opening celebration on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Attendees can enjoy $1 drip coffee, a free stem with purchase, free snacks, live music and other local vendors.

Customers can enjoy a cup of coffee while assembling and creating a flower arrangement at Stemistry’s “Build Your Own Bouquet Bar.”

No reservations are required. Guests can build their bouquets on their own or with assistance from a staff member.

How did Stemistry get started?

The first location opened its doors in 2021, off the Loop 101 Pima Freeway and Via Linda, by then 15-year-old entrepreneur Dylan Capshaw. The idea began as an online flower and plant website and was so successful that Capshaw saved his profits to open his first Stemistry coffee and flower bar.

According to the website, the coffee is brewed with local ingredients. Customers will also have the opportunity to purchase monthly flower subscriptions at 20% off, with a three-month minimum.

The other Valley location for Stemistry is located in downtown Phoenix’s Heritage Square at Sixth and Adams streets.
