A woman is fighting for her life after her adult daughter allegedly stabbed her in Scottsdale on Monday, authorities said.

PHOENIX – A woman is fighting for her life after her adult daughter allegedly stabbed her in Scottsdale on Monday, authorities said.
The domestic violence incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. at an apartment complex near 68th Street and McDowell Road, according to the Scottsdale Police Department.
The mother was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, police. The daughter sustained unspecified injuries but declined a trip to the hospital.
Police said there was no threat to the community after the incident, which started as an argument between the women escalated into violence.
The investigation is ongoing.
