The Phoenix Police Department on Thursday asked the public to help find four men believed to have information about a soccer game homicide.
Police said the player, Tumusifu Bazirake, was killed after being attacked in a field near Sueno Park in Maryvale, which is near 43rd Avenue and Encanto Boulevard, on Aug. 6.
The department released the following photos of four people believed to have been in the area around the time of the attack.
The homicide victim was part of a soccer game before being attacked
Bazirake was playing in a soccer game when a fight broke out, during which several suspects assaulted him, police said.
The suspects reportedly ran away, and the Phoenix Fire Department responded to bring him to a nearby hospital in extremely critical condition. Nearly a week later, Bazirake was pronounced dead.
