Another skydiving fatality reported in south-central Arizona
For the third time in recent weeks, a person reportedly died while skydiving in south-central Arizona.

PHOENIX – For the third time in recent weeks, a person reportedly died while skydiving in south-central Arizona.
In the latest incident, a 47-year-old man was fatally injured at Eloy’s Skydive Arizona facility on Feb. 16, according to ABC15. The victim’s identity was not released.
The TV station, citing the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, reported that no foul play was suspected.
Eloy is situated along Interstate 10 about halfway between the Phoenix and Tucson areas.
What were the other recent fatal skydiving incidents?
On Jan. 24, 55-year-old Ann Wick of Minnesota died after experiencing complications during her descent at Skydive Arizona.
A week later, 46-year-old Shawn Bowen was using a wingsuit-type apparatus when his parachute failed to deploy just north of Eloy Municipal Airport.
All three victims were described as experienced skydivers.

I've done lots of aerobatics and people think I'm crazy. Unless it's on fire, I'm not jumping out. To those that like to skydive, enjoy it, not for me.
I ride both street and offroad motorcycles for fun.
Jumping out of airplanes (for fun) just seems like a bad idea, even to someone like me..
The FAA should be checking the parachute rigger’s licenses and regulations regarding packing parachutes.
