PHOENIX – Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport dealt with a potentially sticky situation over the last two days: a cooling system outage.
The Terminal 4 air conditioning went out Wednesday and still wasn’t operating as of Thursday morning, airport officials said.
Temporary cooling units were brought in while crews worked to restore the AC.
Just before 2 p.m., the airport announced on social media that the cooling system was fixed.
The outage didn’t affecting flight operations.
American Airlines and Southwest Airlines are among the major carriers that fly out of Terminal 4.
