Silver Alert issued for 64-year-old woman with dementia canceled

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert issued Saturday morning for a 64-year-old woman with dementia was canceled after she was located a few hours later, authorities said.

Leslie Kerekes was found after last being seen on Friday around 3:30 p.m. in Golden Shores, a community in northwest Arizona between Bullhead City and Lake Havasu City.

She was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, pink T-shirt, blue jeans and white flip flops at the time the Silver Alert was issued.

Kerekes was believed to be traveling in a black 2010 Ford Taurus with Arizona license plate NRA5HC.

No other details were immediately released after the Silver Alert was canceled.
