PHOENIX – Authorities canceled a Silver Alert after a Phoenix man was found safe and in good health on Monday.

Authorities issued the silver alert on Monday for 76-year-old Vasilios Asimakopoulos who went missing in Phoenix on Saturday.

Vasilios Asimakopoulos, 76, went missing around 1 p.m. on Saturday in the area of 16th Street and Glendale Avenue.

Asimakopoulos was last seen wearing a camouflage hat, brown shorts, gray shirt and black tennis shoes.

He is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds and has white/gray hair and brown eyes.

Asimakopoulos speaks primarily Greek and some English.

He has a medical condition that can cause him to appear confused.
