Silver Alert canceled after missing Phoenix man found safe

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert for a 57-year-old Phoenix man with a cognitive condition was canceled Sunday evening after he was found safe, authorities said.

A.C. Span was reunited with his loved ones, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

Span went missing Sunday morning. When the alert was issued, he’d last been seen at 8:30 a.m. near 40th Street and Camelback Road.

Span is 5-foot-11 and 215 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He suffers from a medical condition that causes him to appear confused.

He was wearing a black shirt, gray pants and white shoes.
