One person is dead and another was injured with serious, life-threatening injuries at Sun Health Grandview Terrace care center in Sun City West.

PHOENIX — One person is dead and another was injured with serious, life-threatening injuries at Sun Health Grandview Terrace care center in Sun City West on Monday.
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived at the care center in the afternoon hours on Monday and found one victim dead at the scene.
The second victim was transported to a nearby hospital.
The care center is located near the intersection of Meeker Boulevard and Grand Avenue.
Identification information of the victims and suspects have not been released and the shooting is under investigation.

According to U.S. World and News Report, the care center has a short-term rehabilitation rating of average.
It has 72 beds and is operated under nonprofit, corporate ownership.
The facility offers independent living, assisted living, memory support, skilled nursing and rehabilitation services.
