Savannah Guthrie receives outpouring of support, prayers after mother goes missing
Savannah Guthrie is receiving an outpouring of support and prayers from fans and fellow public figures as the search for her mother in Arizona continues.

PHOENIX – “Today” show anchor Savannah Guthrie is asking for prayers as the search for her mother continues in Arizona, prompting an outpouring of support from fans and fellow public figures.
Investigators believe 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie was taken from her home in Tucson’s Catalina Foothills area against her will on Saturday night. The family reported her missing to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department after she didn’t show up for church on Sunday.
Savannah Guthrie posted the following message, with an image that says “Please pray” to her social media accounts on Monday night.

thank you for lifting your prayers with ours for our beloved mom, our dearest Nancy, a woman of deep conviction, a good and faithful servant. raise your prayers with us and believe with us that she will be lifted by them in this very moment.

As of Tuesday morning, the post had more than 35,000 comments on Instagram and 17,000 comments on Facebook. The respondents included fellow journalists, actors and athletes.
Katie Couric, a former “Today” anchor from before Savannah Guthrie joined the show, was among those voicing their support.
“Sending love to you Savannah and your entire family. Holding all of you in our hearts and keeping the faith that your mom will be with you again soon,” Couric wrote.
Deborah Roberts of ABC News commented, “Praying unceasingly for protection and comfort now and always!” She also posted a photo of Savannah and Nancy Guthrie with a supportive message on her own Instagram page.
Talk show host Tamron Hall commented, “We are praying with you.”
Poppy Harlow, a former CNN anchor, added, “With every ounce and every single prayer.”
Actor and screenwriter Nia Vardalos was among the show business figures who responded to Savannah Guthrie’s post.
“Thinking of your dear mom, and sending prayers. I’m so sorry this is happening Savannah and hope for her safe return,” Vardalos wrote.
A pair of Olympic gold medalists also answered Savannah Guthrie’s call for prayers.
“Praying so hard!!!” skier Lindsey Vonn wrote.
“Sending so many prayers!” former U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team star Carli Lloyd wrote.
Many of the comments consisted solely of prayer and/or heart emojis. The public figures who communicated their support without words included Busy Phillips, Monica Lewinsky, Rachel Dratch, Olivia Munn, Erin Andrews and “Today” colleague Sheinelle Jones.

If this wasn't a kidnapping for ransom, what would the motive be? Was her house burglarized or bank accounts stolen?

What about all the other people that are missing? What about all the missing kids? Will they get the same care, exposure and resources to find them??????????????
