A SAFE Alert for a missing 74-year-old Phoenix man was canceled Tuesday morning after he returned home.
The Phoenix Police Department said Martin Lopez was safe and unharmed.
When the SAFE Alert was issued Thursday night, Lopez had last been seen around 8 a.m. that morning near 25th Avenue and McLellan Boulevard, south of Glendale Avenue.
Lopez is described as 5 feet, 3 inches inches tall and 180 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair.
He suffers from a medical condition that may cause him to become lost or easily confused.
SAFE Alerts have replaced Silver Alerts in Arizona as a way to spread the word about missing persons who are 65 and older and missing persons who have dementia or developmental/cognitive disabilities.
