SAFE Alert canceled after 70-year-old Mesa man located safe

Authorities on Sunday have canceled a SAFE Alert for a 70-year-old Mesa man who went missing on Monday.

Terry Dominice was located safe, the Mesa Police Department said.

He was previously last seen walking in the area of Country Club and Rio Salado Parkway on Monday, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

He was wearing a blue T-shirt that said “We Need Christ” across the chest and khaki pants, DPS said. He is 5 feet 1 inch tall.

He has a medical condition that can cause him to become lost or easily confused.

SAFE Alerts have replaced Silver Alerts in Arizona as a way to spread the word about missing persons who are 65 and older and missing persons who have dementia or developmental/cognitive disabilities.
