Authorities canceled a SAFE Alert shortly after issuing it on Thursday for a missing man who was last seen in Phoenix.
Robert Vaughn was last seen in the area of 21st and Orangewood avenues, south of Northern Avenue, on Tuesday, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
However, he was found a few hours after the SAFE Alert went out.
Police said he was found in good health and has returned home.
He has a medical condition that can make him become lost and confused easily.
SAFE Alerts have replaced Silver Alerts in Arizona as a way to spread the word about missing persons who are 65 and older and missing persons who have dementia or developmental/cognitive disabilities.
