SAFE Alert issued for missing 57-year-old woman last seen in Phoenix

Authorities issued a SAFE Alert for a missing 57-year-old woman who was last seen in Phoenix on Thursday.

Carla Leguero was last seen in the area near 43rd and Peoria avenues on Thursday around 6 a.m.

She is described as a white female, who is 5-foot-6 and weighs 210 pounds. Leguero is also said to have brown hair and hazel eyes.

When Leguero was last seen, she was wearing a red shirt, blue shorts and white and tan shoes.

Authorities explained Leguero has a medical condition that can cause her to become confused.

Anyone with information regarding Leguero’s whereabouts is asked to immediately call the Phoenix Police Department at 602-534-2121 or 911.

SAFE Alerts have replaced Silver Alerts in Arizona as a way to spread the word about missing persons who are 65 and older and missing persons who have dementia or developmental/cognitive disabilities.
