PHOENIX — Authorities canceled a SAFE Alert for a missing 28-year-old man from Peoria after he was found safe on Tuesday.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Vincent Stover was found safe and in good health.
The SAFE Alert for Stover was issued after he went missing after being last seen around 10:30 a.m. on Monday near 99th Avenue and Sun City Boulevard.
Stover is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 215 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. DPS said he was last seen wearing a blue shirt, gray shorts and glasses.
Stover has a medical condition that can cause him to become easily confused and suffers from paranoia around unknown people, including police.
SAFE Alerts have replaced Silver Alerts in Arizona as a way to spread the word about missing persons who are 65 and older and missing persons who have dementia or developmental/cognitive disabilities.
