A SAFE Alert was canceled Thursday after a missing 74-year-old woman last seen in Tolleson was found safely, authorities said.
The Peoria Police Department said that Peggy Le Blanc is back home after being found safely.
When the alert was first issued, Le Blanc was last seen Wednesday around 7:53 a.m. near Van Buren Street and 83rd Avenue.
Le Blanc suffers from a medical condition that can cause her to become disoriented or easily confused.
SAFE Alerts have replaced Silver Alerts in Arizona as a way to spread the word about missing persons who are 65 and older and missing persons who have dementia or developmental/cognitive disabilities.
