PHOENIX — Authorities canceled a SAFE Alert on Wednesday after a missing 71-year-old Phoenix woman was found safe.

Authorities issued the SAFE Alert for Mary Macgregor on Monday after she was last seen driving near the area of Seventh Street and Deer Valley Road on Friday around 11:30 a.m.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, Macgregor was located safely outside the county and was going to be reunited with family.

Authorities said she was driving a blue 2026 Toyota GR86 with the Arizona license plate 0BA0Y4 when she went missing.

Macgregor is described as being 5-foot-6 and 150 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

When she went missing, she was seen wearing a navy-blue coat and black pants.

SAFE Alerts have replaced Silver Alerts in Arizona as way to spread the word about missing persons who are 65 and older and missing persons who have dementia or developmental/cognitive disabilities.
