Man dies at hospital after shooting at Phoenix QuikTrip, suspect arrested
A man died at the hospital after a shooting in Phoenix on Friday morning, authorities said. Detectives found and arrested the suspect on Saturday.

PHOENIX — A man died at the hospital after a shooting in Phoenix on Friday morning and a suspect was found and arrested the next day, authorities said.
Officers responded to reports of shots fired at a QuikTrip gas station in the area of 44th and Oak streets around 7:45 a.m., the Phoenix Police Department said.
Medical personnel with the Phoenix Fire Department arrived on the scene to bring 52-year-old Danny Lyn Kaster to a nearby hospital for his injuries, which were described as life-threatening.
Lyn Kaster later died from his injuries at the hospital.
Officers secured the area, and detectives were on the scene as of 11:15 a.m. to investigate the incident.
After asking for anonymous tips via Silent Witness, detectives found and identified the suspect on Saturday as Deondre Franklin, 25. He was arrested and booked on one count of murder.
The investigation remains ongoing.
