PHOENIX — Valley high school juniors and seniors can receive free prom dresses thanks to the Cinderella Affair and the East Valley Women’s League (EVWL).
All students need to be eligible for the event is a valid school ID. It will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 1 and March 29 at Dixxon Flannels (7200 S. Priest Drive) in Tempe.
The Cinderella Affair has been hosted by the EVWL for the past 24 years.
The all-volunteer event aims to provide formal wear to anyone struggling to afford the high cost of prom dresses.
Thousands of free prom dresses available
The Cinderella Affair is the nation’s largest free giveaway with more than 6,000 prom dresses in all colors, fabrics, sizes, and designs available.
High school seniors and juniors participating in the Cinderella Affair will be given a numbered ticket upon their arrival.
Once their number is called, participants will be escorted by an on-site volunteer to a dressing room to choose five dresses to try on.
