PHOENIX — One lucky Arizona lottery player won a large payout in Monday night’s Powerball drawing.
The winning ticket was sold at a Yuma Chevron off of Foothills Boulevard and Frontage Road, south of Interstate 8, according to lottery officials.
The ticket matched four of the five white balls — 7, 24, 37, 42 and 57 — plus the red Powerball of 5. That made the ticket worth $50,000.
Arizona Lottery winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
When is the next Powerball drawing?
Powerball has drawings on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday nights.
Tickets can be purchased at more than 3,000 locations across the Grand Canyon State and cost $2.
The next drawing is on Wednesday and has an estimated jackpot of $20 million.
