PHOENIX – One person was injured after gunfire broke out during an apartment complex pool party in Tempe on Sunday night, authorities said.

Officers responded to a shooting call on Broadway Road west of McClintock Drive around 11:30 p.m., according to the Tempe Police Department.

All suspects and victims left the area before police arrived.

During the ensuing investigation into the pool party shooting, a victim showed up at a hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

Police eventually detained multiple people and are working to determine how they were involved in the incident.
