Silver Alert canceled after missing 76-year-old Mesa woman found by Scottsdale police

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert was canceled for a missing 76-year-old Mesa woman after she was found by Scottsdale police, authorities said.

The alert for McGee was activated at 9:45 p.m. and canceled at midnight.

Katarina McGee left her home near Brown and Recker roads around 2 p.m. on Monday.

According to police, she has been having memory issues and takes insulin for diabetes.
