Phoenix home destroyed in early-morning fire but no one hurt

A single-story Phoenix home went up in flames early Tuesday but no one was injured, authorities said.

PHOENIX – A single-story Phoenix home went up in flames early Tuesday but no one was injured, authorities said.

A Phoenix Fire Department crew was called to the home near Central Avenue and Lincoln Street by a man living in a trailer on the property. He made contact by using an emergency pendant.

The house was ablaze but firefighters from multiple units were able to save the trailer from damage.

The man who lives there will be temporarily displaced while the unit is aired out and deemed safe from exposures.

Cause of the fire is under investigation, a department spokesman said.

No other details were made available.
