Multi-vehicle collision in Phoenix leaves 1 dead

A woman has died following a multi-vehicle collision in Phoenix on Saturday, authorities said.

PHOENIX — A woman has died following a multi-vehicle collision in Phoenix on Saturday, authorities said.

Around 5:50 p.m., police responded to a two-vehicle crash near 35th and Glendale avenues, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

Upon arrival, officers found a woman with injuries. She was taken to a hospital where she died due to her injuries, police said.

Upon investigation, authorities believe the driver failed to yield to the right of way while driving northbound in the area.
