PHOENIX — Tucson’s wine — and bruschetta — connoisseurs, rejoice!

Phoenix-based Postino WineCafe is expanding to Tucson in the spring of 2020, the company announced recently.

Set to be located at Tucson Boulevard and Grant Road, Postino Tucson will be the company’s first location in southern Arizona.

The wine cafe’s partnering with Common Bond development on the build.

“Postino has always been focused on serving our surrounding community and really becoming a part of the fabric of a neighborhood,” Postino CEO Lauren Bailey said in a press release.

“So while we looked at dozens of potential sites over the years, it wasn’t until we walked this site with [developer] Brian Frakes and explored the amazing neighborhood, including local favorite like Dante’s Fire and Kingfisher, that we knew we’d found the perfect home for Postino in Tucson.”

The 4,000 square-foot location is set to include an outdoor patio with garage-style roll-up window walls.

There are currently six locations in the Valley, with additional locations in Texas and Colorado.

Once completed, Postino Tucson will be open daily for lunch and dinner, with brunch being served on the weekends.
