Phil Collins isn’t dead, and he’s coming to Phoenix this fall

PHOENIX – Get ready to play those air drums.

Prolific ’80s hitmaker Phil Collins is bringing his “Still Not Dead Yet, Live!” tour to Phoenix in the fall.

The British singer/songwriter will perform at Talking Stick Resort Arena on Oct. 15.

Tickets go on sale to the general public March 30 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

Collins’ last album of original music was 2002’s “Testify,” but that doesn’t mean he lacks material.

While he was still part of Genesis, the drummer/vocalist launched a solo career that spawned four top-10 albums in ’80s.

His 1981 solo debut, “Face Value,” featured “In the Air Tonight” and its iconic drum fill.

Half of Collins’ 14 top-10 singles reached No. 1, including “Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now),” “One More Night,” and “Sussudio.”

Collins, 68, had retired from the business before returning to the road in 2017.

His memoir, “Not Dead Yet,” came out in 2016.
