2 pedestrians hospitalized following car collision in Phoenix
Two pedestrians were hospitalized on Monday night in Phoenix due to a car crashing into them. Phoenix PD is investigating the scene.

PHOENIX — Two pedestrians were hospitalized on Monday night in Phoenix due to a car crashing into them, authorities said.
Around 7 p.m., the Phoenix Fire Department responded to the area of 24th Street and Thomas Road after receiving a report that two people had been hit by a vehicle.
When firefighters arrived on the scene, they found an adult male and a juvenile female with injuries.
After both were treated initially, they were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Phoenix Police Department, which took over the scene, said they had been riding bicycles before being hit by a truck.
The driver of the truck stayed on the scene while police began their investigation.
No other information was provided at this time.

Investigation? You hit people with your vehicle. Staying on the scene isn't a get-out-of-jail-free card. The first rule in the driver's manual is to always yield to pedestrians and be aware of your surroundings.
