The Phoenix Police Department identified the deceased man as Aaron Valentine.
Officers responded to the crash near 27th and Northern avenues around 7:41 p.m.
When police arrived at the scene, they found Valentine with serious injuries. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
