Surprise welcoming spring with Out Of the Park Music Fest

The Out of the Park Music Fest will run Saturday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Mark Coronado Park, which is next to Surprise Stadium.

PHOENIX — Spring officially descended upon the Valley on Thursday, and the city of Surprise will spend this weekend filling the pollen-swollen air with various musical acts.

The Out of the Park Music Fest will run Saturday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Mark Coronado Park, which is next to Surprise Stadium near Bell Road and Bullard Avenue.

In addition to musical acts, the festival will feature a beer garden and food trucks. There will also be various yard games and even a cornhole tournament.

Who is performing at the Out of the Park Music Fest?

Seven artists/groups have committed to the festival and more are expected to be added in the next month.

How much are tickets for Out of the Park Music Fest?

Guests can bundle Spring Training and Music Fest tickets. The bundles start at $38 for those who want to spend the day catching both a game and a concert.

General admission tickets start at $40, but there are several deals and options for eventgoers.

Combination tickets for the festival and the spring training game that day start at $38. The game features the two teams that train in Surprise, the reigning World Series champion Texas Rangers and the Kansas City Royals, at 12:05 p.m.

There’s also a senior discount of $10 thanks to Vineyard Park in Surprise. Those buying tickets online can use VINEYARD to get the discount.
