Live streamer arrested, accused of resisting and creating nuisance outside Nancy Guthrie’s home

A 54-year-old man was arrested outside Nancy Guthrie’s home near Tucson on Thursday after complaints regarding his behavior while live streaming, authorities said.

Alexander Zabel Jr., who runs the CriminalNetwork YouTube channel, was arrested for causing trouble in the same neighborhood earlier in the week.

A Pima County Sheriff’s Department deputy appeared to be knocked to the ground during the arrest, which can be seen playing out in about the final five minutes of Zabel’s live stream on Thursday.

Zabel faces charges of resisting arrest (class 6 felony) and public nuisance (class 2 misdemeanor).

The home of Guthrie, the kidnapped mother of “Today” host Savannah Guthrie, has remained a place of interest for amateur investigators since the trail to Guthrie has quieted down.

Among the most recent developments was a Mexican group that looks for missing people receiving a tip that Guthrie was buried near the U.S. border. No such remains have been found, and PCSD said it has not been contacted by Mexican authorities.
