More than 30 people displaced after west Phoenix mobile home fire

A mobile home fire in west Phoenix on Sunday afternoon left more than 30 individuals displaced, according to authorities.

PHOENIX — A mobile home fire in west Phoenix on Sunday afternoon left more than 30 individuals displaced, according to authorities.

Phoenix firefighters responded to 43rd Avenue and Van Buren Street after a reported mobile home fire around 4 p.m.

Upon arrival, firefighters found multiple mobile homes with smoke and flames coming from the inside of the units. In addition, fire crews had to work around downed power lines, authorities said.

How many were affected by west Phoenix mobile home fire?

Firefighters said five units were affected and at least 33 people have been displaced.

A cause has not yet been determined, and no injuries were reported.

The Phoenix Fire Investigations Task Force is investigating the cause of the fire.
