A Mexican man was sentenced to seven years in prison for conspiring to distribute drugs in Arizona.

PHOENIX – A Mexican man was sentenced to seven years in prison for conspiring to distribute drugs in Arizona.

Jesus Guillermo Valenzuela-Ramirez, 30, was sentenced to 90 months of imprisonment, followed by four years of supervised release and a $100 special assessment. He was convicted of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

Valenzuela-Ramirez and his co-conspirators were in possession of nearly 100 pounds of methamphetamine, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of Arizona.

Authorities said Valenzuela-Ramirez and his co-conspirators planned to deliver the drugs to another individual in July 2024.

Isn't 7 years the wating period for asylum mmmm... Light sentences for dealing drugs dont work they need to quit pussyfooting around and get tuff 50 years to the day no early out no plea deals if weapons are involved add another 30 years. Make it standard for drug dealers, smugglers and human traffickers regardless of where there from
