MCSO deputy among 4 injured in collision in northwest Valley

A Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office deputy and three other people were injured in a collision Thursday night, authorities said.
The incident occurred about 10:45 p.m. near US 60/Grand Avenue and Santa Fe Lane, between Thunderbird and Greenway roads in the northwest Valley, the sheriff’s office said.
A deputy from MCSO’s District 3 and three occupants of the other vehicle were taken to Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale to be treated for unspecified injuries. The injuries were not considered life-threatening.
The Surprise and El Mirage police departments provide assistance with traffic control after the collision.
The sheriff’s office did not release any other details about the incident.
