MCSO: 2 shot dead in Anthem retirement neighborhood

PHOENIX — Two bodies were found deceased at a retirement neighborhood in Anthem on Saturday morning, according to MCSO Sgt. Joaquin Enriquez.

MCSO deputies were responding to a service call near Venture Drive and Anthem Way.

Enriquez says that “this was a shooting” and that the identities of the victims will be released at a later time.

The investigation is ongoing.

There are no outstanding suspects at this time.
