Man, woman seriously injured in shooting at Scottsdale home

A man and woman were left with serious injuries after a shooting at a Scottsdale home on Friday evening, authorities said.

Both were hospitalized in life-threatening condition after being found at a residence near Hayden and McDowell roads just after 6 p.m., according to the Scottsdale Police Department.

Preliminary information indicated that incident was an aggravated assault and attempted suicide, police said.

Neither the man nor woman was identified.

Detectives are working to determine what led to the shooting.
