The U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team takes on Mexico Saturday night in Glendale at State Farm Stadium. Here’s what people who are going should know.

The parking lots for the stadium, located off Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway and Cardinals Way, open at 3 p.m. That is also when the box office opens and the block party kicks off on the South Lawn.

Entry for the party is free and attendees will have a couple of hours before the stadium’s doors open at 5 p.m. to get merch, enjoy live music, games and food trucks and take part in giveaways.

Those bringing bags, should keep in mind that State Farm Stadium has a clear bag policy and that bags must be no larger than 12 inches by six inches by 12 inches.

Bags that are deemed as prohibited will be need to be taken back to the car as there is no place to store them.

Westbound Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway is closed from 51st Avenue to 75th Avenue until 5 a.m. Monday for a widening project, so those coming from the northeast Valley should keep that in mind. The closure can be bypassed by taking Union Hills Drive to 75th Avenue to Loop 101.

The U.S.-Mexico match starts at 7 p.m. MST. People who weren’t able to get tickets can watch on TNT, HBO Max, Telemundo, Universo and Peacock.
