Police investigating after man killed in shooting in north Phoenix

PHOENIX — The Phoenix Police Department is investigating a north Phoenix shooting that left one man dead early on Monday morning.

Police responded around 3:15 a.m. to the area of 19th Avenue and Greenway Road after receiving a call about a shooting and discovered an adult man who had “at least one gunshot wound.”

The man was pronounced dead on the scene from his injuries, police said.

Those who possess any information regarding the case are asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS (948-6377) or 480-TESTIGO (837-8446) for Spanish speakers.

Callers may remain anonymous and information that leads to an arrest will be eligible for a reward.
